Inspiration: Norse Mythology
Norse Mythology is a mysterious system native to Scandinavia, revolving around Yggdrasil, the World Tree. The universe is divided into Nine Realms: Asgard for the Aesir Gods, Vanaheim for the Vanir Gods, Alfheim for Elves, Midgard, Jotunheim for Giants, and others.
In myth, Odin the All‑Father seeks wisdom. Thor, God of Thunder, safeguards mankind. Loki the Trickster frequently brings calamity.
Ragnarök, the ultimate battle, brings the downfall of gods, the destruction and rebirth of the world, marking the end of the mythic era…
These legends have greatly shaped world‑famous literature, art and movies like The Lord of the Rings and Thor. They are also the core inspiration behind Ancient Times Tarot.
